I am trying to meet people who live in Spigno. I am planning avisit there this year to see the area where my father's family is from (Tedesco). I am trying also to learn Italian, but I am not gifted :-) to say the least. So English is pretty important at this point. Hope to hear from someone!

I was born in Abbateggio, a small town about 45Km from Pescara. It is between San Valentino and Caramanico. I am interested in communicating with individuals from the town and sharing information regarding events in the town and events around the world effecting those whose origins are from this town. I am also collecting information regarding present and past for a book on Abbateggio as it was at the turn of the century, the effects of immigation etc. Love to hear from anyone. My grandfather, Giuseppe Puglielli, was born in Caramanico on February 5, 1880. He emigrated to the United States in 1909. My grandmother, Angiolina Tedesco, was born in Musellaro on November 23, 1888, and also emigrated to the United States in 1909.
