Hello, I am trying to find relatives from the Abruzzo region with the last name "Acciavatti." Any help finding them would be greatly appreciated. I think I have cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. there. Unfortunatly, I do not know which town or city they live in or how I could contact them. If anyone could direct me to a search resource it would be great. Thank you !!

Hello, My name is Mary Rossetti. I am 84 years in age and was married to Wido Rossetti for 41 years, when he passed away in 1975. Both his parents and my parents immigrated to the US around 1900, settling in a little village near Pittsburgh named Blythedale. All were from Lettopalena, Chieti, Abruzzi. They all moved back to Lettopalena when I was 8 years old and we stayed to take care of my grandfather, Carmen DiVincenzo. We stayed until 1924 when nonno died. My parents were Domenico DiVenzenzo (died 1963) and Sarah Paolantonio (died 1965). My husbands's parents were Thomas Rossetti (died 1957 on his way back to Italy) and Adelena Diclaudio. I have many relatives in the Pittsburg, PA, USA area. I have three children, Thomas Rossetti, who lives in Walnut, California, USA (married Carol Brunory); Dominick Rossetti, recently located to York, PA, USA, (married Evelena Butler); and Adelena Sara Rossetti-Angelcyk, who lives in Erie, PA, USA (married Gene Angelcyk). I am currently living with my daughter but spent most of my life in Blythedale, PA and West Covina, California. Both of my parents were born in a small town in the province of Chieti called Castiglione(sp). They came to Canada in the late 1950's. My family currently lives in the Toronto area. I would like to know if there are any other Iavicoli's in world as there appears to be none here in Canada.
