My grandfather (also Salvatore) and his wife Olympia migrated to NYC via Ellis Island. Their son's Rocco and Joseph (my father) were raised in Astoria. My Uncle Rocky has since passed but made a trip with his wife Delores to the region. He made contact with relatives from the past.Anyone with knowledge of my Uncle's visit...PLease E-mail me.

My father in law immigrated to the States in 1930 from a village called Castel del Guidice. I can't find it on any maps. Where is it located? Thanks!

My father came to Delaware in 1907 and did not talk much about his home. My grandmother also came with him to marry Mr. Fusco who was already here. I can recall that sshe one told me that she had family in the village of Marca or something like that. I believe that her name was DeAnglis. Would like to here from anyone with any info. Thanks

I believe that my grandfather, Gesidio Angeloni, was born in the Abruzzi region in 1882. I think he emigrated to the U.S. (New York) during the early part of this century. I'm trying to build a family tree and am interested in any information about the Angeloni family and/or name. I know my grandmother's maiden name was Eugenia Sabbatino (she was born in 1895). I'm not sure when they married.
